Brianna Vazquez - Member at Large

 

Bri Velasquez (she/her) is a mother, partner, activist, social worker, feminist, and Santa Barbara local.  She graduated UCSB with honors majoring in Feminist Studies in 2006. She also graduated from CSULB in 2012 with her Masters in Social Work. She has worked at local non-profits including SAFTY (a mobile crisis hotline for those struggling with suicidal, homicidal, and self-harm tendencies), CALM (Child Abuse Listening and Mediation), and in the local schools.

 

In 2017, she started her own private practice in providing mental health services to children, youth, families, adults, and couples.  She specializes in parent-child relationships, LGBTQIA+ community members, adolescents, and perinatal clients.

 

She is a local to Santa Barbara and thoroughly enjoys supporting her community.  She is honored and enthusiastic to be serving on the board of Healing Justice Santa Barbara.
