Georganne Lubin  - Member at Large 

 

Georganne has been a part of the Santa Barbara community since 1987 after moving from the San Francisco Bay area.  She and her husband, Philip have four grown children and had the pleasure of homeschooling all of them over the course of 20 years.

 

Georganne has been active volunteering and working within the California mental health system and social services. These have included Agnews State Hospital, San Jose halfway homes, Oakland after school programs for ASD children, Koegel Autism Clinic mental health, housing and recovery programs. 

 

“One of the great strengths of FamiliesAct! is that it is a grassroots non-profit, and personally provides help to navigate the mental health and legal/jail systems. It attempts to breach the steps in between services and advocates for those who are most affected.”

 

Georganne appreciates FamiliesAct! for all it does and is grateful to be on the Board.
